I was brought to Safe Haven because the other cats in my home were picking on me, I am a shy boy who needs a very understanding human. I was born with a deformed front paw, which prevents me from running and jumping like a normal cat my age, but I can move from shelf to shelf on cat trees and shelters. As said before I need an understanding human, it has taken me months being at the shelter to let people approach and not hiss or swat at visitors. I really like treats and that has helped me accept people at the shelter, but I do not respond well to strangers or people I don't see often. I will need time to adjust to any change in my environment. According to the vet, my front paw deformity doesn't cause me any pain it just slows me when I move and should be kept indoors at all times.
