Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Safe Haven Humane Society cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs

$300.00 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 0 months through 4 months
$250.00 - Dogs aged 4 months through year 0
$200.00 - Dogs aged 0 years through year 3
$200.00 - Dogs aged 3 years through year 7
$100.00 - Dogs aged 7 years and up

Cats

$75.00 Adoption Fee

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Safe Haven Humane Society cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Safe Haven Humane Society dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
Bordetella
Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Micro-chipped

Cats

Rabies & FVRCP
Test for Feline Leukemia & AIDS
Worming
Fle/Ear Mite treatments
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Microchipped
