Safe Haven is a county wide humane society supported entirely by community donations and dedicated volunteers. We place no time limit on the length of stay once a cat or dog has been accepted into our adoption program.
We believe that together we can make a difference in the lives of adoptable stray, unwanted, abused companion animals and the people who open their hearts and homes to them.
Safe Haven’s mission is to provide a temporary haven and treatment for adoptable cats and dogs, place them in suitable homes, increase awareness of the humane treatment of animals and promote spay/neuter programs to reduce the overpopulation of cats and dogs in Jo Daviess County.
