I'm a Southern boy who hails from Louisiana and the Villa Lobos Shelter prior to coming to Illinois and Safe Haven.
I hadn't experienced snow prior to coming North and I tell ya--I LOVE IT! It really is a cool thing!
I'm almost 7 years old but you'd think I'm much younger. I'm a fairly active boy who enjoys time outside playing in the yard, my favorite is chasing the trucks as they drive by, but will run away if I don't have a fence. Otherwise I am really good at listening to commands with proper inspiration...treats?
I'm pretty handsome with my Brindle coat, cute underbite and pointy ears, adding up to a unique and loveable package.
I was in Foster with a female dog and I was very respectful of her. If she she didn't want to play, I was ok with leaving her alone.
At one time I had been adopted and there was a cat in the house. I got along fine with it. My person couldn't keep me so I came back to Safe Haven. I miss being in my own home. I really just want to spend my days in a loving forever home with a wonderful family.
